RRPD blotter: August 12-14, 2016

The Roanoke Rapids Police Department reported the following, according to Chief Chuck Hasty:

Friday August 12, 2016
At approximately 1:30 p.m., Officer Jamie Hardy responded to a larceny call at JCPenney.
Loss prevention reported store employee Taneria Richardson, 26, of Littleton, made a fraudulent return and received a gift card.
Richardson, who received a $2,000 bond and September 21 court date, was charged with larceny by employee.
Saturday August 13, 2016
At approximately 10:45 a.m., Officer Ryan Cross responded to a larceny call at Walmart.
Loss prevention told Halifax Central a person later identified as Steven Edward Cobble left on a vehicle.
Hardy located and stopped the vehicle on Gregory Drive.
Cross arrested and charged Cobble with larceny, possession of stolen goods, driving while license while revoked, fictitious tags and no liability insurance.
He received a $1,000 bond and August 26 court date.
At approximately 4 p.m.,Hardy responded to a larceny call at Walmart.
Loss prevention reported Caleb Lee Snider, 25, of Roanoke Rapids, took items.
Hardy found Snider in possession of narcotics. He was arrested and charged with larceny, possession of stolen goods and possession of schedule VI.
He received a $500 bond and September 9 court date.
Sunday August 14, 2016
At approximately 3 p.m., Officer Hannah Grimes responded to a larceny call at Walmart.
Loss prevention reported Deborah Limer Taylor, 43, of no fixed address, took items.
Grimes discovered Taylor had an outstanding order for arrest from Durham County.
She was arrested and charged with larceny, possession of stolen goods, shoplifting and served the outstanding order.
She received a $500 bond and September 9 court date.
Lieutenant Perry Parks assisted.
