RRPD seeks help in uptown B&E attempt

Roanoke Rapids police are seeking information about an attempted breaking and entering of a business in the uptown area of the city.

Chief Chuck Hasty said access was never gained. There was minor property damage from the attempt. He declined to immediately name the business.

Suspects B and e 1

The attempt occurred sometime after midnight on June 9 when two males assisted each other in trying to gain access.
