Following the meeting Lasky said credit union officials have not yet given word on a specific design for the fence and have not given a firm date for a construction timeline as construction drawings have not yet been submitted.
The bank can begin preliminary site work, however, she said.
SECU has said since announcing plans for the new branch it was going to work on a plan to address the banners.
In a matter related to the planning department, Lasky told council MaSuki Incorporated, which plans to build luxury apartments in Villages at Cross Creek, has officially withdrawn its lawsuit in the state Court of Appeals on plans city council initially rejected.
Council approved a revised conditional use permit for the project earlier this month.

In other matters this evening, police Chief Chuck Hasty recognized graduates of this year's Citizens Police Academy.
This was the 15th year of the academy, Hasty told council.
The graduates, in order of the accompanying photo gallery, are Susan Hargrave, Virginia Brumley, Crystal Bradley and Symiah Banks, accepting on behalf of her grandmother, Kathleen Robinson, who was not present. On the back row are Deputy Chief Andy Jackson, Captain Andy Jackson and Hasty.
Hasty also recognized Master Officer Roy Ball as officer of the quarter, an incentive program instituted by Jackson. Ball led the department in drug seizures for the quarter and is pictured in the gallery with Hasty and Jackson.
Meanwhile, Ann Moore, who is pictured in the gallery with Hasty, asked council for permission to place the fallen officers memorial in Veterans Park off Roanoke Avenue.
Moore, who with the help of DIRT Ministries organized a plate sale to raise funds for the monument, said it should arrive by July 4.
Hasty said following the meeting a ceremony will be held once the monument is erected in the park.
“Thank you,” Councilwoman Suetta Scarbrough told Moore. “You should be commended for doing this. It will be a nice addition to our community.”
