In addition to her own brand of T-Shirts, the Trading Post features women’s accessories, home decor items, Lake Gaston shirts and apparel from Girly Girl Originals.
Special discounts, “Dirty” lemonade, cake pops and more will be part of the opening.
With a large following in the Raleigh area, it was a surprise to many when Harlow announced her store would be opening at 122 E. South Main Street in the town of Littleton.
While just minutes from Lake Gaston, Littleton’s Main Street has remained relatively quiet, hardly seeming the first choice to locate such a thriving online business. When asked why Littleton, Harlow cites the friendly atmosphere of the town, unique storefronts, and it’s proximity to the lake.
“We’ve been welcomed so warmly by the local residents, and town officials. Littleton just has a very friendly small-town appeal you can’t find in other localities,” said Harlow.
Dirty South Trading Post offers a different shopping atmosphere from that found in other stores.
More likely to be found on the streets of Nashville, the shop exemplifies the country lifestyle.
Metal lettering, canvas prints and a buck clad with a feather boa hang from the walls while chandeliers and whiskey barrels line the center of the store.
In addition to apparel, Dirty South Trading Post sells organic beauty products such Filthy Farmgirl, tote bags, carry and conceal purses, and candles from Southern Firefly Candle Company.
The Trading Post also offers services for monogramming spikers, flasks and cups.
The Grand Opening will feature special discounts, refreshments, and a Trading Post favorite, “Dirty” Lemonade.
