Three pitchers combined to throw a no-hitter for the Hobgood Academy Raiders JV in an 11-1 victory in five innings over Northeast on Monday at Hobgood.

David Dobson, Charles Corey and Matthew Staton tallied seven strikeouts and walked five in completing the no-no.

Dobson looked sharp on the mound and held Northeast hit-less over three innings, allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out six.

Six runs in the first three innings helped the Hobgood Academy Raiders JV blow out Northeast. A ground out by Jacob Braddy, a passed ball, and a passed ball in the second inning supplied the early offense for the JV Raiders.

David Harrell racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Raiders. He singled in the third inning and doubled in the fourth inning.

Cole took the loss for Northeast, he allowed six runs in three innings, walked two and struck out two.

The Hobgood Academy Raiders JV built upon their lead with five runs in the fourth. David Dobson's single got things going.
