DeLoatch has five starts with five wins, one save and 34 Strike-outs for the 2013-14 season

Former Roanoke Rapids resident left hand pitcher Jordan DeLoatch struck out 10 and allowed just two hits to pick up his first career shutout and help the 16th-ranked UNC Pembroke baseball team complete a season sweep of Pfeiffer with a 5-0 victory over the Falcons on Wednesday evening at Sammy Cox Field.

DeLoatch (5-0) allowed a single in both the fourth and fifth innings, but very little else. DeLoatch threw 117 pitches, did not allow a walk and retired the sides in order in six different innings. The junior left-handed retired 10-straight Falcons before allowing a single in the fourth, and closed out the midweek tilt by sitting down the last 14 batters he faced.
