HCSO seeks assistance in cell phone theft

The Halifax County Sheriff’s Office is seeking assistance in identifying a man who allegedly stole a cell phone from Food Mart on Highway 48 outside Roanoke Rapids.

Detective R.B. Biggerstaff said the crime occurred April 24 around 11 a.m.
The man was seen getting into a green 1997 Nissan Maxima.
