The Weldon Police Department reported the following:

Saturday, July 30, 2016
At approximately 10:53 p.m., Sergeant Thomas Mason received a call.
Joseph Bryan, 37, of Lavonia, Georgia, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and possession of prescription drugs. He had a $1,500 bond and August 17 court date.
Deputy Chief James Avens assisted.
Monday, August 1, 2016
At approximately 10:51 p.m., Officer Michael Sledge was conducting a traffic stop. He observed the passenger and was suspicious of his activities. After further investigation, Tavio Taylor, 31 of Garysburg, was arrested and charged with contempt of court, perjury, court Violations and interfere with electronic monitoring device.
He had a $7,500 bond and September 19 court date.
Officer Lloyd Melton assisted.
Wednesday, August 3, 2016
At approximately 3:16 a.m., Officer William Wheeler was conducting a traffic stop in the 100 block of Second Street.
Bryan Joyner, 24, of Roanoke Rapids, was cited for expired tags and possession of marijuana.
Melton assisted.
Saturday, August 6, 2016
At approximately 3:10 p.m., Sledge responded to a call in the 100 block of WC Rivers Road.
James Williams, 26, of Weldon, was charged with contempt of court, perjury and court violations.
He had a $6,000 bond and September 6 court date.
