RRPD blotter: August 5-7, 2016

The Roanoke Rapids Police Department reported the following, according to Chief Chuck Hasty:

Friday August 5, 2016
At approximately 12:30 a.m., Officer Natara Velazquez responded to a trespassing call in the 300 block of West Fourth Street.
She found Jeremy Lemuel Perkins, 27, at the residence.
Perkins was told not to return to the property by the resident and police earlier.
Perkins, who received a $750 bond and September 23 court date, was arrested and charged with trespassing.
Officer Patrick Smith assisted.
At approximately 3:45 p.m., investigators Chris Babb and Gorton Williams located Sarah Nadine Tuck, 29, of Roanoke Rapids, on an outstanding order for arrest for being a probation absconder.
She was located in the 1100 block of East Tenth Street and received a $2,500 bond and August 15 court date.
Task Force Agent Cory Dixon assisted.
At approximately 4:15 p.m., Officer Alex Green conducted a traffic stop for a violation on Vine Street.
Green spoke with the driver, James Belcher, 48, of Roanoke Rapids.
The vehicle was reported stolen out of Virginia.
Green arrested and charged Belcher, who received a $7,500 bond and September 21 court date, with possession of a stolen vehicle.
Lieutenant Jeff Baggett and Officer Matt Hunsucker assisted.
Saturday August 6, 2016
At approximately 6:30 p.m., sergeants Daniel Jenkins and Terrence Tyler, Master Officer Adam Salmon and Officer Jeffrey Mason responded to a disturbance call in the 2100 block of Hamilton Street.
Officers learned Tyrell Xavier Brack, 25, of Weldon, had an outstanding warrant.
He was taken into custody without trouble and charged with assault and communicating threats. He received a $2,000 bond and August 16 court date.
Sunday August 7, 2016
At approximately 8:30 a.m., Green responded to a call about a person in the roadway at Julian R. Allsbrook Highway and Premier Boulevard.
Green located Ronald Anthony McDonald, 65, of Littleton, and discovered he had outstanding warrants for breaking and entering and larceny after breaking and entering.
McDonald was taken into custody without trouble and received a $3,000 bond and September 28 court date.
The charges stem from a case investigated by Halifax County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Josh Langley.
Officer Dustin Newsome assisted.
At approximately 1:45 p.m., Green responded to a larceny call at Walmart.
Loss prevention reported several juveniles and an adult male took items and left on a vehicle. Green located the vehicle and Robert Earl Williams Jr., 44, of Rocky Mount.
During the investigation Williams was arrested and charged with larceny, possession of stolen goods, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, conspiracy and possession of a fictitious plate.
He received a $ 5,000 bond and September 2 court date.
Baggett, Sergeant Mike Moseley and Officer Hannah Grimes assisted.
At approximately 6:30 p.m., officers received information on the location of Bradley Michael Barnes, 23, of Roanoke Rapids, who was wanted on numerous outstanding warrants and orders for arrest.
Lieutenant Perry Parks, Salmon, officers Jamie Hardy, Newsome and Mason went to the area of Hinson Street and Woodlawn Avenue along with Sergeant Dennis Coley of the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office.
Barnes fled but was caught in the woods.
During a search, Hardy found him to be in possession of heroin.
Barnes was served with seven outstanding orders for arrest and warrants for conspiracy, obtaining property by false pretense, breaking and entering a motor vehicle, larceny of a firearm, possession of a stolen firearm and possession of schedule I.
He received a $44,755 bond and September 21 court date.
