Both the Roanoke Rapids High School Men's soccer JV and Varsity teams opened their season at home this past Thursday with wins.

Roanoke Rapids JV team beat North Johnston 5-0.

Zayed Alrahimi hat trick with 3 goals while Jacovy Castillo had 1 goal and 1 assist also Dawson Garner had 1 goal.  Salman Rahmi and Omar Rios each with assists while goalie Angel Saravia had 17 saves in goal

The Roanoke Rapids Varsity team beat North Johnston 1-0

Abdul Alrahimi was the lone goal with Shawn Morgan assist and goalie Edenilson Saravia had 9 saves.
