The Roanoke Rapids High School Lady Yellow Jackets soccer team earned a Northern Carolina Conference win Wednesday night at Hoyle field.

Roanoke Rapids 5-0 home win against South Granville moved the Jackets back to a co conference lead with South Granville with a loss to each other in conference

Goals for the Yellow Jackets were by Catherine MacNichol  with a Hat-Trick Three goals, Ella King  earned the other two goals on the night.

Jackets with assists were Ella King with two, Morgan Davis and Catherine MacNichol with one each.

Hannah Moseley had 12 saves in goal for the Lady Yellow Jackets.

Post match comments by Jackets head coach Craig Jean, "This was a performance we desperately needed. I am very proud of our intensity all over the field.  It was a big team win. Everybody stepped up and gave their best effort and it was a lot of fun to watch and be a part of."
