The Roanoke Valley Rockfish Swim Team finished out it's 2019 swim season with a second place victory in the Nash-Halifax Swim League.

Under Coach Michael Lynch's tutelage, the Rockfish swimmers gave Westridge a run for their money, and fell short only to the Nash Rec Sharks.

Swimmers received high point medals for each age bracket, with Elliott Sass (12), the only high points earner for RVST, earning nearly 60 points for the season.

The Roanoke Valley Swim Team also had an undefeated 11-14 relay team made of Morgan Hudomint, Mikey Hartson, Hunter Sparks, and Elliott Sass.

Coach Lynch, along with assistant coaches Matthew Price, Kendall Qualls, and Michael Glasgow, worked exceptionally hard with the swimmers this season, and hope to see the team increase in members for next year.
