Tuesday night's road trip to Southeast Halifax was a good trip for two out of three of the Weldon High School Charger basketball teams.

In the first contest the of the night, the Chargerss were outplayed by the Junior Trojans. The Chargers couldn't get their game plan together and the Southeast Junior Trojans went on to secure another win tonight.

The girls contest was another showstopper by the ladies of Weldon. With ease and finesse, the Lady Chargers easily went on to win 84-28. Once again the reserves came off the bench and proved their value to this team. These ladies seem to gell well together and it shows every time they hit the court.

In the final contest of the evening, Coach Handsome and his coaching staff saw their guys execute plays that gave them a 69-48 victory over the Trojans. Tonight the crowd enjoyed seeing the Chargers do a good job of controlling the boards, grabbing rebounds and getting the ball inside to the big guys.

Weldon will be at home on tomorrow and Friday night.
