The Halifax Academy Vikings Varsity Boys basketall team advances to the second round of the NCISAA 1A State Basketball playoffs Tuesday night at home.

Halifax Academy beat Kerr-Vance for the third time of the season Tuesday night at home 79-27. The Vikings advance to the second round Thursday night on the road to take on Pungo. Jackson Vincent and Tyler Cotten each had three, three pointers on the night.
