The Halifax Academy Vikings hosted the Virginia Southampton Academy Raiders basketball teams Wednesday.

The girls Middle School Lady Vikings started the day off with a win, beating the Raiders 37-7.

The Vikings Middle School boys fell in a Heartbreaker to the Raiders lossing 23-25.

The Vikings JV Boys fell as well 31-39 in a close game.

The Varsity Halifax Academy boys team battled evenly until the fourth period and earned the win beating the Southampton team 66-47.
