Weldon High School Varsity girls basketball team earned the win Friday night in their 2018 Girls Basketball Holiday Tournament.
In the 6:00pm game Friday:
Northampton Co. (3rd. Place) beat Northwest Halifax (4th Place) 57 - 36
In the 7:30 Ghampionship game:
Weldon High (1st Place) beat Greensville Co. (2nd Place) 73 - 49
Weldon High's Shylah Travis earned the Tournament MVP
