Roanoke Rapids Sanitary District customers are not affected by any water main breaks or boil water advisories that had been issued earlier today by the Northampton County Public Works Department, according to CEO Thomas Wrenn.

According to an earlier post on the Northampton County Public Works Facebook page water service has been restored.

Any inquiries should be directed to the public works department at 252-534-6341.

The original public works department post said parts of Garysburg and surrounding area customers may have low to no water pressure due to a water main line break.
