Trail Life USA and American Heritage Girls teaches young men and women, ages 5-18, adventure, character, and leadership through a program centering on outdoor experiences that builds life skills and allows them to grow on a personal level and as a role model and leader for their peers.
The mission of Trail Life USA and American Heritage Girls is to guide generations of courageous young men and women to honor God, lead with integrity, serve others, and experience outdoor adventure.
The programs welcomes boys and girls whose parents are seeking a faith-based outdoor adventure program that places an emphasis on character development, leadership, and moral purity, and who aspire to live in accordance with the values expressed in the program’s Oath and Creed.
For youth that enjoy being outdoors and would like to try such things as hiking, canoeing, backpacking, rock climbing, cycling, skiing, swimming and camping, these are the perfect programs.
The life skills learned in these programs are skills that will carry throughout life and help young people grow into productive and contributing members of our society.
They will also help a young person be successful as a youth both in and out of the classroom. These programs offer opportunities that are on the cutting edge of the 21st Century with badges and ranks centered on today’s STEM initiatives.
Programs in rocketry, robotics, geology, and engineering are part of the curriculum to help young people succeed. Another major focus is on community service.
Many opportunities are provided to teach youth the importance of doing things for others and how doing so contributes to the overall success of the community.
The main thing is for youth to come to have a great time and know that they will have the opportunity to be part of a very high-energy program that will be hands-on and active, but above all else, safe and fun.
The programs can be explored online at www.traillifeusa.com and at www.ahgonline.org where all kinds of information is available for review.
