The Halifax County Law Enforcement Association continues its Christmas for Kids program this year.
The program this year has been able to help more families and children than ever before.
The HCLEA couldn’t have reached out to so many kids if it hadn’t been for the community’s help.
This year, the HCLEA helped 22 families, which resulted in 56 children receiving gifts for Christmas.
The HCLEA would like to thank every business that sponsored our second annual Seafood Extravaganza, to include; New Day Fitness, First Citizens Bank, Bobby’s Grocery # 2, Bone’s Toyota, Askew Funeral & Cremation Service, Express Signs, Martin Exterminating Company, Little and Jenkins Rebuilders, Creek Side Animal Hospital, Southern Bank and Trust Company, White’s Ford-Chevrolet-Cadillac, Dr. Gary F. Bjarnason, Double “R” Sports Bar, Discount Tire, Rep. Michael Wray, Gilbert Chichester Attorney at Law, and Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service.
The LEA would also like to thank the citizens in the Aurelian Springs Community watch program, the Stray Cats car club, Davis’ Body Shop, and numerous other citizens that donated money and gifts to our program.
The local businesses and people in our community have truly answered the bell for our families in need this Holiday season.
