Gary (Gemo) Midgette, age 60, of Creedmoor, NC passed away after an extended illness on Sunday, September 19th.
He was born on January 7th, 1961 to Hurley and Teruko Ando Midgette, who both preceded him in death.
Gary grew up in Roanoke Rapids and still had many friends in the area. He was a retired welder, avid bowhunter, fisherman, great cook, and lover of animals. He was a loving brother and son who devotedly cared for his mother in her later years.
Gary is survived by his two brothers, Michael of Niantic, CT and Thomas of Creedmoor, NC. He is also survived by two nieces, Alyssa (Oh Sung) of Oakdale, CT and Lauren (Bob) of Wethersfield, CT along with a grandnephew, Yeon Jae, and a grandniece, Sadie.
The family will receive friends at Wrenn Clarke & Hagan Funeral Home on Friday, September 24, 2021, from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.
