After a long hard battle with Alzheimer’s, Elsie Bell Huffman Robinson, 91, of Roanoke Rapids and Littleton passed away Saturday December 1, 2018.  

Elsie was born in Mooresville, NC on April 19, 1927.  She was the daughter of the late Jason Levi Huffman and Nancy Benfield Huffman.  

In addition to her parents.  Elsie was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Robinson; brothers, Lewis Huffman, Clyde Huffman and Bobby Huffman; a son Kenny Robinson; two grandsons, Kevin and Jeffrey Robinson; one great grandson, Brian Bradley.

Elsie retired from JP Stevens/Bibb in 1989 and was a member of First Baptist Church in Roanoke Rapids for many years.  

Elsie loved to work in her yard and garden.  

She also loved to travel and was able to visit many places after her retirement.  

Elsie is survived by her sons, Carl Robinson and wife Jo Ann, Mitchell Robinson and wife Wannapha all of Littleton. In addition she is survived by her brother Kelly Huffman of Efland, NC and a sister Hallie Sinclair of Tallahassee, Florida; six granddaughters, Lara Ann Lassiter, Tammy Bradley, Renee Bradley, Lynn Ohlinger, Laura Beebe, Angela Padgett; one grandson Michael “Bennie” Davis; ten great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at Bear Swamp Baptist Church 15227 NC Hwy. 48 Littleton, NC, with Pastor David Samdrough officiating.  The family will receive friends immediately after the service in the Church fellowship hall.
