Ralph Pearson Ingram, 80, died February 12, 2021, at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.

A native of Roanoke Rapids, Ralph was the son of the late James Moses Ingram and Rose Pearson Ingram. In addition to his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by his twin sisters; Margaret Anne Pruden and Betty Wynn Neal, and by his brother; James Thomas Ingram.

Ralph was a graduate of Roanoke Rapids High School and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He then served as an Officer in the United States Navy, where he learned lessons that would stay with him the rest of his life.

Ralph is survived by his loving wife of 27 years; Renate Bertram Ingram, his children from a previous marriage, son; Grey Ingram, daughter; Paige Fox,  step sons; Neal Clem and his wife Holly, Jerome Allen Robinson and his wife Renee, step daughter; Tracy Robinson and her husband James, step grandchildren; Tyler, Riley and Kasey Clem, Wyatt and Morgan Robinson, Britni and Megan Robinson, niece; Anne Pruden Spragins, nephew; William H. Pruden II.

Graveside Services will be held Friday March 19, 2021, at 2:00 PM at Cedarwood Cemetery with Military Honors. Ralph’s Pastor, Rev. Sonny Browne will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to All Saints Episcopal Church, 635 Hamilton Street, Roanoke Rapids, NC, 27870.
