Edgar Lloyd Hargrave, Jr., 63 of Halifax, NC, died November 20, 2020, at Vidant North Hospital, Roanoke Rapids, NC.

Lloyd Jr. was born in Halifax County, NC the son of the late Edgar Lloyd Hargrave, Sr. and his surviving mother Patricia Campbell Hargrave of Littleton, NC. 

He was a retired Distribution Manager with AEL.

Surviving in addition to his mother are: his wife Alison Hale Hargrave; A daughter, Sydnee Rhodes Hargrave of Halifax, NC; a son, Benjamin Lloyd Hargrave of Halifax, NC; three brothers, Andrew Hargrave and his wife Ginger of DeWitt, VA, Steven Hargrave and his wife Terri of Garysburg, NC and Davis Hargrave of Littleton, NC.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, November 24, 2020, at 2:00 PM, in the Chapel of Wrenn Clarke & Hagan Funeral and Cremation Service, 1015 West 5th Street, Roanoke Rapids, NC. Pastors Currie Burgess and Kenny Warthan will officiate.
