Glenda Hoggard Moffatt, 84, died Thursday, October 25, 2018.

Glenda was a native of Roanoke Rapids, the daughter of the late William Alton Hoggard and Arlene Shearin Hoggard.

A retired homemaker, she was a longtime resident of Halifax County, a member of Calvary Baptist Church, and was proud to be “Nana” to her grandchildren and great grandchild.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, Jack D. Moffatt.

Glenda is survived by her daughter; Sherry Odom and her husband Wayne, brothers; Robert Payne Hoggard and his wife Onella and Thomas Alton Hoggard and his wife Brenda; granddaughters Erika Odom and Marcy Odom, great grandchild; Karson Hayes Odom, nieces and nephew; Buddy Hoggard, Patty Hoggard, and Mickie Fowler.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at Wrenn Clarke and Hagan Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Buddy Hoggard and Randy Martin officiating.

Burial will follow in Cedarwood Cemetery.
