Nannie Sadler “Faye” Bateman, 82, died Wednesday, December 25, 2019.

Faye was a native of Northampton County, the daughter of the late Charlie Sadler and Pattie Jordan Sadler. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; James Russell Bateman, a son; Charles Bateman, sisters; Edith Chambliss, Emma Sadler, and Joyce Ingram, and a brother; Charlie Sadler.

Surviving are her sons; Russell Harris and his wife Jeanie, and James Sadler and his wife Rose of Hampton, VA, her daughters; Deborah Decker and her husband Steven, Teresa Bateman and her husband Pete, Pattie Cotton and her husband Chan of Henrico, NC, and Brenda Bateman, her brother Donald Sadler and his wife Patricia, 9 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. at Wrenn Clarke and Hagan Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Enfield. 

The family will receive friends Monday, December 30, 2019 from 7:30 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home.
