Eula C. Mountford, age 93, passed away at Brunswick Health & Rehab in Ash, N.C., on Monday, June 24, 2019.  

She was born in Wilson, NC, on August 29, 1925. 

She was preceded in death by her husband (married 52 Years) William J. Mountford ("Buckeye"). She was also preceded by the following:  her father, Isaac R. Cobb Sr., her mother, Bettie Walston Cobb, her brother, Isaac R. Cobb Jr., her sister, Lula C. Cobb and a nephew, Isaac R. Cobb III ("Ike").

Eula is survived by her children, William J. Mountford, Jr. (Sara) and Betty M. Wyles (Jerry); three grandchildren, James Mountford (Emily), Kenne Mountford (Amanda), and Sam Tate (Solstice); and four great grandchildren.

Eula was a homemaker that always put her family first.  She was known for her candy making skills and her love for flowers.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at Hockaday Funeral Home, 507 US-158, Roanoke Rapids, NC 27870.
