Roger Armstrong Warren, III, 76, of Roanoke Rapids died on Saturday, November 25, 2023.

He was born on July 26, 1947 to the late Roger Armstrong Warren, Jr. and Lorene Wright Warren. 

He was also preceded in death by his brother, Emmitt Randall Warren.

Roger was a 1965 graduate of Roanoke Rapids High School and a 1969 graduate of ECU. 

He retired from Rural Health Group and was the owner of Warren Fence Company for many years.

He is survived by his wife, Lou Ann Warren; his two sons, Roger Armstrong Warren, IV and fiance’ Charlene Lee and Eric Kendall Warren both of Roanoke Rapids; his grandson, Dylan Bryce Warren and Breanna Branch of Roanoke Rapids; great-grandson, Bryce Elliot Warren; his sister, Gail Warren Endicott of Roanoke Rapids; nephew, Joshua Randall Endicott; sister-in-law, Teresa Warren of Roanoke Rapids; his niece, Jessica Warren Seelman and her husband, Mark; nephew, Joshua Randall Endicott; great niece, Kaitlyn Randall Seelman and several cousins.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at Rosemary United Methodist Church with Rev. Randy Martin and Rev. Keith Sexton officiating.

Interment will follow at Cedarwood Cemetery in Roanoke Rapids.

The family will receive friends from 12:45-1:45 PM on Tuesday in the Church fellowship hall before the service.
