Gilbert Harvey Hale, Jr. 74 of Conway, NC passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2023.

He was born in Halifax County on November 1, 1948 to the late Gilbert Harvey Hale, Sr., and Gladys Dare Elks Hale. 

He loved to race Jeeps, play golf, and loved to work in the Oil industry in which he worked 43 years before retiring. 

Gilbert is survived by his wife of 48 years, Sheila Randolph Hale; his daughter, Krystal Hale and his granddaughter, Madison Hale Hamm. 

At his family’s request no services will be held at this time.
