Betty Jo Britton Young, 69, of Pendleton died Sunday January 1, 2022.

She was a native of Hertford County and was the daughter of Hinton Brown Britton and Sarah Elizabeth Britt Britton. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Little Young and her son Joseph Brown Young.

She was a member of Roberts Chapel Baptist Church and was a substitute teacher for a number of years.

She is survived by her daughter, Lou Y. Futrell and her husband, Luke of Conway; her grandchildren, Brad White and his wife Meagan, Brandon White, Brayden Yandle, Keelie Britt and her husband, Neal and Chase Futrell.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday January 4, 2023 at Roberts Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Kern officiating.

Interment will follow in the Roberts Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the Church.
