Lucille Cobb Robinson, 89, of Roanoke Rapids, NC passed away on Thursday, August 1, 2019.

She was born in Halifax County to the late Robert Roy and Laura Violet Williams Cobb and was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Edward Robinson, Sr.

Lucille, was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a lifetime member of Halifax United Methodist Church, a member of the Methodist Women and a volunteer at Halifax Regional Medical Center Gift Shop. 

Lucille is survived by her sons Timmy Robinson and his wife, Elizabeth of Roanoke Rapids, NC, Robbie Robinson and his wife Bann of Wilmington, NC; her daughter, LuAnne Phillips and her husband, Mark of Greenville, NC; her sister Opel H. Keeter of Scotland Neck, NC; her two brothers, Roy David Cobb and his wife, Frances of Halifax, NC and Ty Cobb and his wife, Shirley of Jacksonville, Fl; her seven grandchildren, Robbie Robinson and his wife, Stacey, Tony Robinson, Timmy Robinson, Jeffery Robinson, Suzanne Holt and her husband, Brad, Alston Phillips and Lauren Phillips; her six greatgrandchildren, Trey Brody, Carleigh, Liam, Brooke and Anna Grace and several special nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 4, 2019 at 2pm at Halifax United Methodist Church in Halifax with Rev. Avery Lail officiating.

Interment will follow in Cedarwood Cemetery in Roanoke Rapids, NC

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 3, 2019 from 6-7:30 PM at Askew Funeral & Cremation Services of 731 Roanoke Ave. Roanoke Rapids, NC 27870 and other times at Mrs. Robinson’s Home.
