Regina Werr Dixon, 93, of Roanoke Rapids passed away on Monday, July 7, 2025.

She was born in Glogay Schlesian, Germany and was the daughter of the late Emma Meta Werr and Emil Agust Werr. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Rogers Dixon, whom she married on March 18, 1952.

She is survived by her daughter, Christine Dixon Harris and her husband, James, “J.R.”; her three sons, John Dixon and his wife, Delma of Roanoke Rapids, Roy Dixon and his wife, Debbie of Skippers, Virginia and Edmond Dixon and his wife, Cheryl of Roanoke Rapids; eight grandchildren, Jeanette D. Tony and her husband, Dennis, Autumn Radamaker and her husband, Rob, John Dixon and Skyler Webb, Doug Dixon and his wife, Jennifer, David Dixon and his wife, Chelsie, Danny Dixon and his wife, Melodie, Thomas Dixon and his wife, Melissa and Jacob Dixon and his wife, Kendall and one step granddaughter, Jamie Edwards; 18 great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren; sister, Vrigitta Brunstuhl, Nashville, OH; brother, Karlheinz Werr and wife, Marie of Orlando, FL and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 10, 2025 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Askew Funeral and Cremation Services in Roanoke Rapids with Pastor Jeremy Kobernat officiating.

Interment will follow in Cedarwood Cemetery in Roanoke Rapids.
