Thomas Owen Clay 69, of Roanoke Rapids, passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2025.

He was a native of Halifax County and was the son of the late Thomas High Clay and Hazel Cushing Clay.

He is survived by his sisters, Iris Clay Moseley and her husband, Howard of Roanoke Rapids and Kathryn “Kate” Clay Gonzalez and her husband, Raul of Portsmouth, Virginia; his brothers, Steven Hugh Clay and James Daniel Clay and his wife, Mary Jane, both of Roanoke Rapids; his niece, Jennifer Gautier and her husband, Dan and two nephews, Jeff Arwood and Eric Clay and his wife, Casey.
