One man faces charges and another is sought in the theft of more than $1,000 in electronics Monday evening.
Roanoke Rapids police Chief Shane Guyant said the crime occurred between 5:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. at a retail business on Premier Boulevard when Christopher Wood, 29, and an unknown man broke into an electronics case and stole the goods.
Loss prevention was familiar with Wood, who had warned him to not return to the business due to previous thefts.
Police have obtained warrants for Wood on charges of felony larceny, felony possession of stolen goods, and second-degree trespass.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Wood or the identity of the other man is encouraged to call Crimestoppers at 252-583-4444 or via its website
