Southeast Collegiate Prep Academy seniors have been offered more than $1 million in scholarships from a number of colleges and universities.
The schools include Chowan University, Methodist University, Johnson and Wales University, North Carolina Wesleyan College, Wingate University, Elizabeth City State University, North Carolina A&T University, Louisburg College, Fayetteville State University, Mary Baldwin University, Livingstone College, Hartwick College, and more, said school counselor, Courtney Higgins.
"It's my goal in the school counseling department at Southeast Collegiate Prep Academy to make sure all students are college and career ready,” Higgins said. “I want to give all of my students every opportunity to see what options they have and help them plan for their future and post secondary plans. I constantly push my students to apply for scholarships and grants. I'm happy to see my hard work of pushing my scholars has paid off."
