The official kickoff to America's 250th anniversary celebration kicked off Friday night April 12th hosted by the Weldon Mills Theatre featuring the Band of Oz.

The special concert marked the beginning of two years of festivities dedicated to honoring our nation's rich history and bright future. Halifax 250th, Inc as we embark on this remarkable journey of commemorating America's legacy and accomplishments. Preconcert Halifax County honored our Frontline Heroes of Halifax County then celebrated the spirit of our great nation.
