A Greensboro man faces charges linked to the August 27 robbery of a Garysburg store, according to the Northampton County Sheriff’s Office.

Captain Patrick Jacobs said Detective W. Killian obtained warrants on 19-year-old Jashun Staton on October 2. They were served by the Greensboro Police Department on October 10.

Staton faces charges of robbery with a dangerous weapon, second-degree kidnapping, conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon, assault by pointing a gun, injury to real property, and injury to personal property.

He received a $100,000 secured bond and has a November 2 district court date in Northampton County.

The store was robbed at gunpoint around 1 a.m. and Jacobs said this is an ongoing investigation with more arrests expected and others involved.
