A man wanted by the Roanoke Rapids Police Department in connection with a late June sex child sex offense case has surrendered.
Chief Shane Guyant confirmed that 20-year-old Tavaris Malik Pye surrendered to the police department this evening.
Pye faces a count of statutory rape with a child 15 or less.
As of this report Pye was being processed.
