The Halifax County Sheriff’s Officer is investigating a report of a stolen trailer Monday.

Lieutenant Shane Guyant said the 6-x-16 trailer was taken from the American Legion Road area of Roanoke Rapids. It has a wooden floor and meshed metal ramp.

The vehicle used to haul the trailer appears to be a red or burgundy Chevrolet or GMC four-door pickup.
