The Northampton County Sheriff’s Office reported the following, according to Captain Patrick Jacobs:

On Thursday Sergeant J. Barmer served an outstanding warrant on 39-year-old Lee Collins of Jackson for one count of obtaining property by false pretense, one count of financial card theft, one count of identity theft, one count felony assault on an individual with a disability, and one count of false imprisonment.

On Wednesday Barmer served warrants to 38-year-old Kristin Werner of Jackson on counts associated with the Collins case.

Werner faces the same counts with the exception of the assault count.

Jacobs said the charges stem from an investigation that began on August 22 when the sheriff’s office received a report where the identification of an elderly woman was being used.

The victim also sustained injuries as a result of neglect in June of 2021.

Werner received a $15,000 secured bond and Collins received a $30,000 unsecured bond.

Collins has a November 10 court date and Werner a November 15 court date.

On October 22 Sergeant W. Killian responded to a disturbance at a residence in Rich Square.

Warrants were later obtained on 26-year-old Justice Moses of Winton for breaking and entering with intent to injure and terrorize, assault and battery, injury to personal property, and injury to real property.

The Hertford County Sheriff’s Office served the warrants on October 29 and Moses received a $10,000 secured bond.

On Monday Killian obtained warrants on 35-year-old Monte Arrington and 34-year-old Devonte Arrington in an October 13 shooting investigation.

Monte Arrington is wanted for assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, discharging a weapon into an occupied dwelling, possession of a weapon on school grounds, two counts of injury to personal property, and one count of injury to real property.

Devonte Arrington is wanted for one count of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill.

The warrants stem from an investigation that occurred in the Gaston public housing complex shortly before 7 p.m. on October 13.
