The Roanoke Rapids Police is participating in the DEA National Prescription Takeback initiative set for October 29 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at DrugCo Express located at 1096 East Tenth Street.
The department encourages the public to turn in their unneeded medications for safe disposal.
