Site plans for a suite of four offices off Premier Boulevard between Starbucks and the former Harley-Davidson dealership have been submitted to the city’s planning and development department.

The plans were submitted by Triple Net Ventures of Raleigh, Roanoke Rapids Planner Kristyn Anderson said.

There will be a 2,400-square-foot building for a restaurant with a drive-through, a retail space of 1,500-square-feet, a retail space of 1,499-square-feet and a 3,525-square-foot space for a dental office.

Anderson said there has been no confirmation what restaurant will occupy the space designated for an eating establishment.

It has also not been confirmed whether the space designated for a dental office will be occupied by a local dentist or a dental group.

Anderson said the developers have to get an erosion control permit from the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality. They must also make sure they have the proper easements for development and construction.

Toyota of Roanoke Rapids

Meanwhile, Toyota of Roanoke Rapids has submitted revised site plans for a new dealership at Premier Boulevard Extension at the end of Sheraton Drive.

Those site plans are currently under review and have not been approved, according to Anderson.

There has been no construction timeline given for the dealership which is slated to occupy 6.47 acres. It will include a 28,136-square-foot building and a 4,714-square-foot dealership car wash bay.

The revisions to the site plans were based on issues surrounding water and sewer service, which will be provided by the Roanoke Rapids Sanitary District.
