Two Roanoke Rapids men were charged Wednesday afternoon, one of them with trafficking heroin, following a raid at a trap house on Sugarberry Drive.
Captain A.M. Harris of the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office said Travis Manley, 34, and Kevin Ingram, 38, would meet at the residence to sell drugs.

Harris said in a statement that Agent H.G. Phillips had received several complaints of drug activity taking place at the residence. A search warrant was executed shortly after 2 p.m.
During the search agents seized marijuana, methamphetamine, over 5 grams of heroin, 18 individually wrapped bags of cocaine, an additional 12 grams of cocaine, several items of drug paraphernalia and currency.
Phillips arrested and charged Manley with trafficking heroin, possession with intent to sell/deliver cocaine, felony possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Ingram faces charges of possession with intent to sell/deliver cocaine, felony possession of cocaine, possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The men received $20,000 bonds and April 20 court dates.
