A stop Friday for a motor vehicle violation led to the seizure of drugs and two guns as well as the arrest of a Littleton area man, according to the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office.

Chief Deputy Scott Hall said on Friday around 8 p.m. Deputy D. Bybee made a stop on Highway 158 near Old Farm Road.

A probable cause search resulted in the seizure of 15 MDMA pills, two oxycodone pills, a scale with marijuana residue, seven bags of marijuana containing a total of 74 grams, loose baggies, two pistols and a high capacity magazine.

The driver, Kevin Jacinto Clayton, 23, was brought before a magistrate. He faces charges of possession with intent to sell and deliver MDMA; possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana; possession with intent to sell and deliver schedule II; driving while license revoked; possession of a concealed handgun; and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He received a $75,000 secured bond and March 24 court date.
