A Littleton area man reported missing last week was found safe in New York with family, according to the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office.

Chief Deputy Scott Hall said investigators received word Monday that Justin Deshawn Rodriguez, 37, was located. “Today, Detective R. Marshall confirmed that Mr. Rodriguez was in New York safe and well. We would like to thank the citizens for the information that we received while investigating this case. 

The man’s family last week reported they had not seen him since February 11 when he walked away from his home in the Apex Lane area. 

Rodriguez had left home for periods of time in the past, but never for this length of time.
