Family members of an Enfield man this afternoon reported him missing around 4:30.

Clifton Alex Battle, 61, was last seen Tuesday around 4:30 p.m. when he left his home in a black 1998 Honda CR-V with NC tags TJW-4183.

Chief Deputy Scott Hall of the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office said no direction of travel was reported.

Battle stands 6-feet tall and was wearing a pair of coveralls, brown boots and a gray hat.
