The Historic Halifax Farmers Market returns Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in Halifax.

Following the season opener this weekend, it will be held every Saturday afterward until further notice.

Local farms Lambee Farm, Grand DaDa, 4EverVista, FourTee Acre, Bee Blessed Pure Honey and more will be at the event.

Featured musical artist Jashaun Peele will be playing numbers on the saxophone and DJ 3-two-1 will be playing music.

Also ABC2 will have its Waffle & Sausage Fundraiser at the farmers market as well this Saturday.
