Registration is now open for June and July summer camps  at the Center for Energy Education.

Parents and guardians of middle school students are invited to register their child for the Renewable Energy Summer Camp.

Campers will learn about renewable energy, its relationship to the environment, and how energy is generated. 

Daily hands-on activities will enhance critical thinking and creative thinking skills and expose students to STEM concepts and new technology. 

The camp is free for any student who wants to attend. 

Food and all camp materials are included. 

Space is limited.

Summer camp teachers wanted 

The center is actively searching for licensed school teachers to lead its virtual Renewable Energy Summer Camps during June and July. 

Teachers will be compensated $100 daily for leading virtual summer camps for middle school students.

Teacher workshop 

Registration is now open for the Renewable Energy Education Workshop for Teachers on June 14 and 15 or June 16 and17. 

The free two-day training program is designed for middle and high school teachers. 

Teachers will gain a fundamental understanding of how renewable energy works and will receive hands-on kits to use in the classroom, providing learning activities for the students. Teachers who complete the training will also receive a $200 stipend and professional development credit.
