A Roanoke Rapids man faces charges of obtaining property by false pretense and possession of a stolen firearm after pawning a stolen shotgun Monday.
Chief Deputy Scott Hall of the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement Detective R.G. Jenkins obtained the warrants against Larry Stanley Long, 60.
Long is being sought by the sheriff’s office and tends to frequent the area of Fairfax Motel in Roanoke Rapids. He pawned the weapon in Roanoke Rapids.
