The Center for Energy Education has opened registration for its June summer camps.

Parents or guardians of middle school students in Halifax County are invited to register their child online for Renewable Energy Summer Camp.

Campers will learn about renewable energy, its relationship to the environment, and how energy is generated.

There will be daily hands-on activities enhancing critical thinking and creative thinking skills and exposing students to STEM concepts and new technology.

The camp is free for any student who wants to attend. Food and all camp materials are included. Space is limited. Register online at center4ee.org to attend the four-day camp beginning on either June 21 or July 19.
