The Halifax County Health Department today added seven new positive cases of COVID-19 to its data.

The new positives bring the total cumulative number since March of last year to 5,084. There have been 102 related deaths.

The health department also reported it has COVID-19 vaccines available today at the Griffin Centre on the campus of Halifax Community College, 200 College. 

Today, vaccinations are available to anyone ages 18 and over, with no appointment necessary. Arrive at the top of the hour or half past the hour. The clinic will end at 4:30 this afternoon.

Northampton County

The health department Wednesday reported there were 1,730 total positive cases of which 1,640 have recovered. There were 23 active cases. There have been 67 related deaths.
